Nightfall

A BBC Micro survivor game: explore a wrapping world at night, cut through the horde with a sword that grows with every card, and survive the bosses.

Nightfall is original 6502 code built on the EGFX renderer and EAudio. One set of files runs on five profiles, from a BBC B with sideways RAM to a Master Turbo or a 6502 second processor, from floppy or optional ADFS. Rarely used code (menus, cards, the shop, the map) loads from disc as CRC-checked overlays, and the resident engine fills its 2816-byte window to the last byte.
